The College of the Redwoods basketball teams both remained winless in the Golden Valley Conference after each lost at Lassen on Saturday.

The men’s team fell 85-60 and is now 0-4 in the GVC and 0-19 overall.

The women’s team lost 76-54, and also is 0-4 in conference, and 4-12 on the season.

Sophomore Bobbie Purify led the Corsairs offensively, scoring 13 points, while freshmen Bree Northern finished with 11 points and Abiona Katri 10.

Elysha Jackson led the CR men with 18 points, while Logan Thrap had 14 and Blake Rossman 12.

Both CR teams will try to end their losing streaks at home to Simpson JV on Wednesday.
