Humboldt State’s Kameron Curl scored a team-high 20 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Lumberjacks men’s basketball team saw its home winning streak snapped in a 91-72 loss to Cal State San Marcos on Thursday night.

The Lumberjacks dropped to 14-7 overall and 8-5 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

They are now 9-1 at home.

The HSU women’s team, meanwhile, turned in a big second half on the way to an 88-70 win over Cal State San Marcos, also on Thursday night.

HSU improved to 11-5 overall and 9-4 in conference play

Both HSU teams will host UC San Diego on Saturday night.
