Jeanna Robledo passed away peacefully on December 27, 2018 at Redwood Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family members. Jeanna was diagnosed in November with Pancreatic Cancer and was only 61 years old when she passed.

A native of Fortuna, California, Jeanna graduated from Fortuna High School in 1975. Jeanna was married to the love of her life Ken Robledo for 34 years. She worked for Rohnerville School District and others local schools as a bus driver for 29 years before retiring. Jeanna was a member in the Fortuna Latter Day Saints Church, where she participated in her church choir, served as Primary President, and was very active in genealogy.

Jeanna’s favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a very talented seamstress, crafter, and musician. Jeanna enjoyed fishing and kayaking with her husband. She also loved watching musicals, eating Mexican food, and reading scriptures. Jeanna’s favorite saying was “Remember who you are.”

Jeanna’s last wish was to make it to Christmas so that she could celebrate with her family. Jeanna enjoyed a beautifully decorated Christmas tree this year, mostly in the color of purple to symbolize Pancreatic Cancer. She spent Christmas Eve surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and husband and then Christmas with her extended family.

Jeanna is survived by her husband Ken Robledo, children Datri Anderson (John), Jenny Chastain (Tim), and Tim Robledo (Tamara), mother Gloria Tarrant, siblings Jo Scaife, Vanessa Fredrickson (Eric), Jess Alan Dunlap, LeOra Swanson (Ty), LaNora Howard (Barry), Nicholas Dreman (Jessie), and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Jeanna is preceded in death by her father Jess Dunlap, step-mother Virginia Dunlap, and grandmother Verda Sanne.

A Celebration of Jeanna’s life will be held at 1 pm, on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at the Latter Day Saint’s Church in Fortuna. Family asks that you wear something purple to honor Jeanna’s battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Jeanna can be made to the American Cancer Society Eureka Office at 317 I Street, Eureka, CA 95501.
