Cade Sheets struck out 11 batters as the Humboldt B52s pulled away late to take care of NBO Baseball at Bomber Field by a score of 12-1 on Friday night.

Sheets pitched all seven innings, allowing just one hit and two walks on the way to the win.

He got plenty of help at the plate, as the home team exploded for 16 hits.

Eric Smelko and Spencer Duggan each finished with three hits, including a pair of doubles by Smelko and a triple by Duggan.

Ethan Fischel also had a pair of doubles to go with his three RBIs, while Cody Banks was 2-for-3 with a triple.

Karter Koch and Tommy Gale both had two hits as well.

The B52s improved to 18-9 with the win and will continue a three-game weekend stand against NBO at Bomber Field on Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m.

Koch will start on the mound for the home team.

The Crabs also won on Friday night, rolling over the Ukiah Hawks by a score of 20-0 in seven innings at the Arcata Ball Park.
