Chloe Chapman unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 28, on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, in a tragic car accident. She was a kind, beautiful, compassionate, sensitive young woman and will be forever loved and missed by family and friends. There is nothing that can ever explain the unexpected loss of such a beautiful young person.

Chloe moved to Humboldt from New York City in 2011 to be with us, her Humboldt family, because she loved everything about living here. She had a passion for dogs, cats & all living creatures.  She loved reggae music, our festivals, our beautiful beaches, the redwoods, and her friends and family.

Please join us for an evening of celebration as we come together to share and remember the love that Chloe shared with so many. This has been a difficult transition for those of us who remain, so let’s join together to laugh, cry, love, and support each other as we continue in this world without her. Please bring a potluck dish to share if you can, along with your own dishes and utensils to limit waste and cleanup on:

Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Merryman’s Beach House on Moonstone Beach.
