Home runs by Braeden Holliday and Karter Koch helped the Humboldt B52s to an 8-2 win over the Fairfield Indians at Bomber Field on Saturday night.

Holliday led the way at the plate, finishing 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs, while Koch was 2-for-4 with a home run.

Antonio Caravalho got the win on the mound, allowing two runs on two hits and no walks in four innings.

Caravalho also struck out five.

The B52s gave up two runs in the opening inning, but held the visitors scoreless the remainder of the way while scoring runs in five of the opening six innings to gradually pull away.

The two teams will close out a three-game series on Sunday afternoon at 12:05 p.m.
