The Humboldt B52s and Humboldt Crabs each won on Sunday to close out their respective weekend series.
The B52s defeated the Fairfield Indians 12-3 at Bomber Field in Eureka, completing a weekend sweep.
The home team scored seven runs in the fourth to break the game open.
Jeff Giacomini had a big game, pitching seven innings for the win on the mound and adding a pair of base hits including a double.
Giacomini allowed three runs on 10 hits and struck out nine.
Arcata’s Austin Kadle and Del Norte’s Cole Harper each also had a big day for the B52s.
Kadle led the team at the plate, finishing 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, while Harper was 1-for-2 with a home run, and also had three RBIs.
Matt Mascio and Antonio Caravalho each also had two hits, including a double by the latter, while Cody Banks had a triple and three RBIs.
The Crabs, meanwhile, scored twice in the bottom of the ninth to secure a late come-from-behind walk-off win over the Lincoln Potters at the Arcata Ball Park.
The Crabs won 6-5 in a game that was tied at 4-4 heading into the final inning.
Damian Henderson and Dawson Bacho each had a pair of hits for the Crabs, who took two of three games from the Potters this weekend and are now 30-14.
The Crabs and B52s will play each other twice this week, including a game at Bomber Field on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m.
