Jack Hagans
August 22, 1949 – June 20, 2019

Jack Hagans of Eureka passed away June 20, 2019.

Jack’s glory was his caring spirit. He often placed the needs of others ahead of himself. Those who knew him well remember him as a kind, compassionate person, with his own unique way of living life. He took the road less traveled as a good man with a loving heart.

Many remember Jack for his musical abilities as a singer with the 60’s local bands, the Soul Seekers and God’s Country. His passion for music continued throughout his lifetime.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Hagans, and mother, Happy Dempsey. He is survived by his daughter Jessica Hagans Gregory, his grandson Carson Gregory, his sister Ronda Kime, brothers John and Duane Hagans, and many nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom he dearly loved.

We would like to thank Hospice of Humboldt for their wonderful support and care. Thank you to those friends who were so happy and gracious to spend time with Jack in his final days. He genuinely valued his close friendships.

A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held August 17, 2019, 11 a.m. at the Bethel Church on Hubbard Lane in Eureka. Jack’s family extends an invitation to all those who wish to share in the celebration of our most beloved brother.
