Eureka Police Department press release:

On July 4, 2019 at approximately 12:50 a.m. Officers from the Eureka Police Department were dispatched to the Foot of Hilfiker parking lot for an unknown problem. Upon officer arrival they located a deceased female subject lying in the parking lot. Due to the totality of the circumstances the scene was secured and EPD Detectives and an Evidence Technician were call out to process the scene. The scene was processed and all evidence collected.

Through the investigation EPD Detectives identified the suspect as Daniella Moore (40 years old of Eureka). Moore was arrested and booked in the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for Homicide. Moore is being held on one-million-dollar bond.
