PREVIOUS LADELLE TOMSON: Suspected Big Time SoHum Heroin Dealer Arrested in Eureka, Says Drug Task Force

On June 10, 2019, at about 8:40 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on the 400 block of Redway Drive in Redway for the report of a burglary that had just occurred.

When deputies arrived on scene, they learned that a neighbor had observed 39-year-old Lucas Clay Garrison exiting the residence with stolen items and entering a nearby vehicle. The neighbor then began to follow the suspect’s vehicle. At some point during this time, the neighbor observed Garrison exit the vehicle and walk towards a local business.

While on scene at the residence, deputies were notified that Garrison was currently outside of a business on the 3100 block of Redwood Drive. Deputies contacted Garrison, who was found to have two misdemeanor warrants for his arrest, in addition to being in possession of stolen ammunition from the residence.

While continuing to investigate, deputies learned that the vehicle associated with the burglary had returned to the 400 block of Redway Drive. Deputies made contact with two subjects associated with the vehicle, 24-year-old Christopher Armstrong and 34-year-old Ladelle Jean Tomson. The subjects consented to a search of their vehicle. While searching the vehicle, deputies located multiple firearms, numerous power and hand tools, ammunition and antique camera equipment that had been stolen from the residence.

Armstrong was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of possession of stolen property.

Tomson was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on a felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance for sales and transportation of a controlled substance for sales, in addition to fresh charges of possession of stolen property.

Garrison was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on two misdemeanor warrants for petty theft and possession of a controlled substance, in addition to fresh charges of burglary and grand theft.

Sheriff’s deputies believe the three suspects were possibly stealing items from the residence over several days. Approximately 15 firearms stolen from the residence remain outstanding at this time.
