HCDTF
Humboldt County Drug Task Force release:
On March 19th, 2019, the Humboldt County Drug Task Force (HCDTF) served multiple search warrants in
the City of Arcata. During a year-long investigation, HCDTF established probable cause to believe that
Karlton Morris Peterson (age 37), Anthony Osmond Peterson (age 36), and Lloyd Albert Wolfe Jr.
(age 34) were distributing cocaine, illegally possessed pharmaceuticals, and other illicit drugs from their
business “The Emporium” located at 1073 H Street, Arcata.
At approximately 1:55 p.m., HCDTF special agents, with the assistance of officers from the Arcata Police
Department, Eureka Police Department, and Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, served a total of four
search warrants in the City of Arcata. In addition to the aforementioned business, search warrants were
served at residences located in the 500 block of G Street, 1000 block of H Street, and 2700 block of L K
Wood Boulevard.
At these locations agents seized multiple ounces of cocaine, MDMA, prescription narcotics, psilocybin
mushrooms, and several illegally possessed firearms. It is believed this business was a “one stop shop”
for purchasing illegal narcotics. Upon entering The Emporium, agents contacted and arrested Lloyd
Albert Wolfe Jr., and booked him into Humboldt County Correctional Facility (HCCF) on the following
charges:
H&S 11351/11377/11378 Possession of a controlled substance for sales
H&S 11370.1(a) Possession of controlled substances while armed
PC 33410 Possession of firearm silencer
PC 30605 Possession of an assault rifle

At the G Street location, agents contacted and arrested Jonathan Israel Celestine (age 34). Celestine
was booked into the HCCF for possession of controlled substances for sales.
On March 20th, 2019, Anthony Osmond Peterson contacted the HCDTF and surrendered himself to agents.
He was transported to the HCCF and booked on the above listed charges.
