Mark Frank Leonardo, 60, passed away on Meridan Road in Ferndale on March 4, 2019. Mark was born at Redwood Memorial Hospital on June 22, 1958 to Virginia A and Frank H Leonardo.

He was raised in Ferndale and graduated from Ferndale Union High School. He acquired a “fixer-upper attitude” and did many odd jobs in construction work. He was a friend to many people near and far away, while his quick wit, infectious laugh and smile made many lasting friendships.

Mark’s number one priority in life was his two daughters and four grandsons who he had cherished with all of his heart.

His second priority was the care and attention of his three beloved black labs. Katie, Maggie and Buster. All you need is love and a dog.

Mark is preceded in death by his father Frank H. Leonardo and grandmother Arleen F McCall.

He is survived by his two daughters, Shanna L Borgeson (Colby) and their two sons of Nevada. Jenna M Leonardo and her two sons of Washington. His mother and step-father Virginia and Leo Angelini of Ferndale. Sister, Merrilee Mosher (Tim) and their two daughters of Alaska. Brother Michael (Ronan) and their son of Fortuna. Sister Mindi Percell (David) and their son of Nevada. Godmother Evelyn Paine and Aunt Ione Franz.

At Mark’s request no service were held.
