On May 14, 2019, at about 11:33 a.m., a Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputy on patrol in the Glendale area observed two subjects, known to law enforcement, outside of a vehicle parked on the side of the road in the 300 block of Green Hill Lane, Blue Lake.
The deputy conducted a pedestrian stop on the two subjects, one of whom was known to be on formal probation. During a search of the subjects’ vehicle, deputies located stolen property associated with a McKinleyville residential burglary, in addition to burglary tools.
William Orsina Mattingly, 23, of Fieldbrook, was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and violation of probation.
Trayten Jakitrick Hunt, 26, of McKinleyville, was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and driving without a license.
