The Eureka Loggers fell 4-1 at St. Joseph Notre Dame in Alameda on Monday evening, bowing out of the North Coast Section Division-III softball playoffs.

The loss ends the season for the Eureka girls, who close out 20-7.

Notre Dame will now advance to the Division-III semifinals, where the Pilots will play No. 1 seed Marin Catholic later this week.

The Loggers, who were seeded No. 5 in the Division-III bracket, posted their first NCS win in five years in the opening round last week, defeating San Rafael 2-1.

St. Joseph Notre Dame is seeded No. 4.
