UPDATE, 4 p.m.: Scanner traffic confirms that two trailers have been rendered uninhabitable by the fire. The Red Cross has been called in to assist the two households displaced by the fire.

UPDATE, 3:40 p.m.: The trailer that caught fire is pretty clearly destroyed, reports the Outpost’s Andrew Goff at the scene, and a neighboring trailer is heavily damaged.

A single-wide mobile has erupted in flames at the Lazy J Mobile Home Park off Eureka’s Jacobs Avenue.

The fire was first reported at about 3:10 p.m. this afternoon. According to scanner traffic, witness reported hearing an explosion before fire engulfed the structure. Callers also said that everyone was out of the affected home.
