Humboldt County Drug Task Force release:

On May 30th , 2019, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Special Agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force (HCDTF), with the assistance of the Fortuna Police Department POP unit, served a search warrant at a residence located in the 500 block of North Fortuna Boulevard, Fortuna. During their multi-week investigation, agents received information that Ryan Jared Michael Fuller (age 22) and Michela Raeann-Rose Yates (age 21) are involved in the illegal sales of prescription narcotics.

Upon entering the residence, agents detained Fuller and Yates without incident. Agents searched the residence and seized several items consistent with narcotics sales. These items include packaging material, pay and owe notes, as well as several hundred illegally possessed prescription medications. In addition, agents located just over $8,000 in U.S. currency that is believed to be profits form narcotics sales. This currency was seized and will be held pending asset forfeiture proceedings.

Fuller and Yates were subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for possession of controlled substances for sales.
