Aaron Sky Hawkins died unexpectedly at the young age of 38 in Crescent City on April 13, 2019. Aaron was born on October 28, 1981 in Arcata. He was a lifelong resident of Humboldt County and resided in Trinidad most of his life.

Aaron had a passion for music, working on cars, journaling and playing chess. Even though he was soft-spoken, he was physically strong and had a heart of gold. He was a very loyal friend and would go out of his way to help those he cared for. More than anything, Aaron loved spending time with those he loved and enjoyed the little things in life. Aaron had this unique sense of humor and always made people laugh. He was a fun guy to be around and was someone you would want to have in your corner.

Aaron will truly be missed and it won’t be the same without him. Aaron leaves behind his two brothers; Sean and Dana Hawkins, his grandmother Jacqueline Cone, the Martinez Family, several nieces and nephews and many special friends and other extended family members. He is preceded in death by his mother Collete Hawkins.

A memorial go fund me page has been established to help with the memorial costs. A future date/time will be established once enough funding is available for his service. Any donations would truly be appreciated. Please go to this link to view Aaron’s Memorial page to share any memories you may have of Aaron or if you would like to donate to his memorial fund.

The Good Die Young

Some are bound to die young
By dying young a person stays young
in people’s memory.
If he burns brightly before he dies,
his brightness shines for all time
