Three local teams will get the opportunity to play for a North Coast Section championship in soccer this weekend, including two here in Humboldt County.
And game times have been finalized for all three.
In boys action, the Fortuna Huskies will try to complete an unbeaten campaign when they play International at Fortuna High on Friday night at 7 p.m.
The Huskies, who are 16-0-3 on the season, are the defending section champions and the No. 1 seed in this year’s Division-I bracket.
Two H-DNL girls teams will play for a championship on Saturday.
In Division III, No. 2 seed St. Bernard’s will play No. 1 Technology in a rematch of last season’s championship game at Rancho Cotate High at 2 p.m.
Closer to home, the Arcata girls will play for a first ever NCS championship when they host Middletown at 2 p.m.
The No. 3 seed Tigers knocked off rivals Eureka 2-1 in a thrilling overtime game at Albee Stadium on Wednesday night to advance to the decider.
They will play at home after No. 5 Middletown upset the odds at No 1 Fortuna on Wednesday.
