Bonniesue George
1/20/43-10/13/19

Michael George’s beloved wife of 28 years, Bonnisue, following a lengthy illness, stepped on to the moonbeam to Heaven at her home on Oct. 13, with her husband Michael, her daughter, Cheryl Smith, and her twin sister Sharonlue Batini by her side. She was a very special wife, mother, sister, nana, aunt and friend. She will be truly missed forever.

She retired from Simpson at Korbel after 35 years. During her time with Simpson she was the on the Board of Directors Northern Redwood Credit Union, she was president of the S.R.A. and enjoyed the preparation for the annual picnic.

After she retired, she enjoyed growing many beautiful flowers her favorite were her roses. She also loved going fishing with her husband. One of her other hobbies was to collect beautiful pictures and statues of eagles. Most of all she loved, loved her three cats.

Preceded in death by her son Charles Smith, mother Lucille Sisto, father Kenneth Sisto, brother Darrly Sisto, mother-in-law Christine Quella, brother in-law Angelo Batini, nephew Stephen Johnson, niece Dawn Wilson Artzer. 

She is survived by her husband Michael George, daughter Cheryl Smith (friend Larry), step-daughter Christial George, sisters; Darlene Wilson and Sharonlue Batini, grandchildren; Josh Stephens (wife Heather and sons Tyler, Colten and Wyatt), David Stephens (friend Julie) and Seth Stone (wife Tess and daughter Sierra), many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Our many thanks to Hospice of Humboldt. Request no food. Services will be held on Sat. Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. at Paul’s Chapel in Arcata.
