From the Eureka Police Department:
On 11-21-2019 at 5:23pm, officers of the Eureka Police Department were dispatched to a stabbing that had just occurred at the 300 block of W. Del Norte Street in Eureka.
Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim, who explained that a female subject she had met recently had confronted her at the victim’s residence. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded the keys to the victim’s car. When the victim refused, the suspect lunged at the victim, ultimately stabbing her. The suspect then fled the residence with the victim’s wallet and drove off in her vehicle. The victim sustained two moderate stab wounds as a result of the assault and was transported to St. Joseph ER for treatment.
The suspect is described as an Indian Female Adult, about 40 years old, heavy build, with dark curly hair. The victim vehicle is described as a green 1996 Honda Sedan, bearing California license plate number 6ZEF118.
An attempt to locate has been sent out to all local Law Enforcement agencies for the suspect and vehicle. The public is urged to contact the police if they see the vehicle, but not to attempt to contact the suspect. The suspect is to be considered armed and dangerous.
