It’s a case of good news, bad news for local fans ahead of a busy weekend of North Coast Section football action.
The good news is that all three games featuring H-DNL teams will be streamed live through the NFHS Network, allowing fans that are unable to make the trip to watch the games.
The bad news is that all three are on at the same time, with all three local teams kicking off at 7 p..m. on Saturday.
In Division 5, Del Norte is seeded No 2 and will play No. 1 Encinal at Hayward High School, while in Division 6 St. Bernard’s is also seeded No. 2 and plays No. 1 Kennedy at Benicia High School.
And rounding out the triple-header of championship action, in Division 7 No. 2 Ferndale plays No. 1 Salesian at Alhambra High.
The St. Bernard’s and Del Norte games will also be broadcast live the radio.
Tag Wotherspoon will call the action from the St. Bernard’s game on MIX 95.1 FM, with the pre-game show starting at 6:40 p.m., while John Pritchett and John Horner will call the Del Norte game on KPOD 97.9 FM.
