The Kincade wildfire burning in Sonoma County was fully contained by firefighters yesterday evening.
The fire, which ignited on Oct. 23 for reasons still unknown, ballooned to more than 77,000 acres before firefighters were able to stop the fire’s progress.
A total of 174 residences and 11 commercial buildings were destroyed by the fire. No other structures are believed to be threatened.
Four first responders were injured while battling the fire. No deaths have been reported.
