Constance (a.k.a Connie) Norris was born on Feb. 7, 1949 in Tucson,
Arizona. Connie passed away on October 18, 2019. She attended
Crescent Elk School in Crescent City and Fortuna High School in
Fortuna. Connie also attended The Community Center in LA and The
Academy School to become a CO.
Connie suffered several traumas in her life time but always had a heart of gold. She was a leader of the Shaker church and believed strongly in prayer. She spoke fluent tongue in a Shaker way. She took pride in working on her own vehicles. She loved the outdoors including fishing. She loved to be family-orientated and would visit family and friends a few days at a time, like our cultural belief. Her three husbands were John Walker, Wane Elston and Glenn Scott. Some of her long-term friends were Mike Loftin Sr., Clarence Swain, Poo Bear Reed, Hollie Reed and Butch Reed.
Connie is joined by Paula Norris, Estella Norris, Melvin Joseph and Marry Lewis Roberts Carol.
Pallbearers: Melvin Eslton, Shelley Norris, Glenn Scott, and Derrick Norris.

Services and potluck will be held at 2 p.m. at the main Yurok Tribe Office – 190 Klamath Blvd., Klamath, 95548.
