There was no stopping the Eureka Loggers on Friday, and there was no stopping junior striker Klayre Barres.

Arguably the most dangerous forward in the H-DNL, Barres netted three times in a 4-0 win over Cloverdale, as the Eureka girls cruised into the North Coast Section Division-I soccer semifinals.

In what was a dominating team performance, fellow junior Keylei Carroll also netted off a superb free kick midway through the second half, as the Loggers began to pull away.

Barres completed her hat trick just a minute after Carroll’s pinpoint free kick.

Watch both goals here, including two angles of Carroll’s free kick, as well as Barres’ first-half opener, set up on a wonderful assist from freshman Jordan Brown, who is enjoying an outstanding debut season.

The Eureka girls will now play either Arcata or Credo in next Wednesday’s semifinal round.
