Zachary Tyler Ray Carper
November 9, 1984-September 12, 2019

Zach was a loving son, an ideal brother, and a very proud uncle.

Zach had a great childhood growing up with his three younger brothers in Fieldbrook California. He and his brothers were exceptionally close and shared an unbreakable bond with one another. They all adored Zach and looked to him for guidance. He was extremely athletic and excelled at every sport he played, but ultimately baseball stole his heart. He grew into an outstanding pitcher and catcher. He went on to play in college and even played locally for the Humboldt Crabs.

Growing up in a small town with not much to do, he really fell in love with the outdoors and spent much of his life hunting and fishing locally and worldwide. He and his brothers went on numerous hunting adventures together and had the time of their lives. They all say Zach somehow always got lucky with the biggest buck walking out at just the right place and time.

Zach also had an older half sister who he wasn’t able to see much growing up but in more recent years they genuinely connected and had many meaningful visits. He loved seeing his niece and nephew and seeing what a devoted mother his sister had turned out to be.

Zach was loved by so many people. He was strikingly charismatic and had a way of lighting up a room when he walked in. Everything seems slightly dimmer since he passed.

Zach is preceded in death by; his Grandpa Bob Carper his Grandma Mary Carrol his Father Ron Ray, and Uncle Alex Carper. Zach is survived by; his parents Debbie and Arnie Carper, his Grandma Kay Carper, his Uncle Hank Carper his Sister Ashlee Ray and brothers Quintin, Jared, and Caleb Carper, his sister in-laws Cassie and Megan Carper, his 4 nephews and 6 nieces, his loving girlfriend Miranda Hayes, and an endless number of great friends who all cherished him and who now cherish his memory.
