The College of the Redwoods men’s soccer team got a second conference win over the weekend, topping Lassen 5-1.
Arturo Lemas scored four goals in the win and assisted on the other, as CR improved to 2-4 in the Golden Valley Conference and 5-8-1 overall.
Devin Schneider also scored for the Corsairs, while Tyrees Aranam Alexis Olea, Isaac Njoroge, Donty Thompson and Sean Claridge-Colbert each had an assist.
Volleyball
The Corsairs fell to Siskiyous on Friday, losing 21-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-18.
Kaylin Campbell led the way in the loss, finishing with 16 kills, while teammate Alondra Ledezma had eight kills.
Alexis Goodman also had a big game, finishing with 29 digs, while Ashlynn Maddeoux had 14 digs.
With the loss, the CR women are now 1-4 in conference and 3-14 overall.
The Corsairs play at Butte and Shasta next weekend.
Football
College of the Redwoods dropped a fifth straight game in football, falling 14-10 at Los Medanos in the Corsairs’ conference opener on Saturday.
CR is now 1-6 on the season and 0-1 in conference.
The Corsairs return home to face Foothill at the Redwood Bowl next Saturday.
