In memory of Frances Lucille Roberts, born September 4, 1930, passed away October 24, 2019. Affectionately known to everyone as “Mema,” a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was loved by all who knew her. Fran was born in Haywarden, Iowa, and lived in Humboldt County over the last 60 years.

Fran was the wife of the late O’dell Roberts, and is survived by her five children: George and his wife Ginger, Patricia and her husband Chuck, Ginger and her husband Charlie, Dale and Trudy; her five grandchildren Mike and his wife Nikki, Sean and his wife Crystal, Kevin and his wife Rebecca, Kyle, Crystal and her husband Kyle; and six great-grandchildren Chance, Carli, Charli, Payden, Kasey, Aiden and Morgan.

She is also survived by her sisters Patricia and Marie.

Funeral services will be held at Goble’s Mortuary in Fortuna on Friday, November 1, 2019. Viewing is from 10:00am to 12:00 noon, followed by the service at 1:00pm. There will be a potluck gathering for family and friends following the services at the Fortuna Monday Club.
