On Wednesday, October 2, at about 10:30 a.m., a deputy on patrol on the 800 block of Redwood Drive in Garberville saw two males engage in a possible hand-to-hand drug transaction.
Deputies contacted the two subjects and determined one of them, 30-year-old Isaac William Washburn of Phillilpsville, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Deputies arrested Washburn on the warrant.
During a post-arrest search of Washburn, deputies located a digital scale and 15 individually wrapped bags of suspected heroin. Deputies additionally located evidence of suspected drug sales on Washburn’s person.
Washburn was transported and booked into the Humboldt County jail on the warrant and suspicion of Possession Controlled Substance for Sale. The other male was released from the scene.
