UPDATE, 2:24 p.m: The Eureka Police Department has released the following photo of the suspect, which looks pretty similar to the the subject of the photo released in connection with the Blue Lake gas station robbery earlier in the week.

Eureka Police Department press release: 

On September 11, 2019, at about 4:48 a.m., Officers with the Eureka Police Department responded to a gas station on the 3500 block of Broadway for the report of a robbery that had just occurred.

The suspect entered the store, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from the register. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers searched the vicinity but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a male, 5’6”, thin build. He was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, black bandana covering his face, black pants, gray shoes, and a red backpack.
