The St. Bernard’s Crusaders set themselves up for the defense of their Little 4 title with a stunning four-games win over crosstown rivals Eureka in volleyball on Wednesday night.

The Crusaders won a thriller 26-24, 28-26, 15-25, 26-24, with three of the four sets going down to the wire.

The showdown was the final pre-league match for both teams, with St Bernard’s opening the defense of the Little 5 at home to Southern Trinity on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m.

The Loggers have an opening round bye in the Big 5 and will open their campaign at home to Fortuna on Tuesday.
