Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

Missing person Marc Andrew Castagnetto, 56, of Hydesville, has been located alive.

Castagnetto was reportedly located by a passerby on Titlow Hill Road approximately 14 miles south of Highway 299 on Monday, April 21, 2020. The passerby transported Castagnetto to the Blue Lake Rancheria where he contacted law enforcement.

Castagnetto was found to have sustained injuries to his feet. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and released.

Deputies are investigating the circumstances leading to Castagnetto’s re-appearance on Titlow Hill Road.
