The Arcata Fire District, with support from Blue Lake Fire, Westhaven Fire, Fieldbrook Fire, and Cal Fire Trinidad responded to a blaze on Holly Drive in McKinleyville late Friday night, Arcata fire posted on its Facebook page.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire, which had broken out in the detached garage of home, but the building was destroyed. 

There were no injuries.
