John Kelly Johnson was called home on January 16, 2020 at the age of 47. John was a resident of Fallon, Nevada for two years but also called Jackson County, Oregon and Humboldt County his home.

John was one of the most caring and generous men a person could know. He was always the type to stop if he saw someone broken down on the side of the road. He would spend time with troubled youth in the neighborhood because to him the time they spent helping him in the yard was time they spent staying out of trouble. As a man who never seemed to meet a stranger, he enjoyed making friends with all of his neighbors, coworkers and customers, barbecuing, celebrating holidays and embracing everyone’s company. He liked spending as much of his summers camping, fishing and riding his motorcycle as time would allow. His winters were filled with playing in the snow and sledding with the children in his life.

John spent most of his adult live working in the automotive industry. He was known by many as the sales manager of Bridgestone/Firestone in Corvallis, Eugene, Medford and Eureka. He later managed smaller local auto shops ending his career at Sequoia Gas Co in Fortuna. He then moved to Fallon, where he enjoyed spending his free time riding, breaking and fixing quads, working on the property, and attending church services with his fiancé Delacy.

Friends and family always had a place to feel safe as John always made sure his door was open to anyone in need. John only had two daughters but had several other children who looked up to him as a father figure in their lives.

John Kelly Johnson is survived by his two daughters Lacey Ann Nicolai and Cianna Rianne Johnson, his granddaughters Kairi Reine Skillman and Felicity Gale Nicolai, his father Wayne Allen Johnson, his sister Amanda Jean Ownbey, his brothers Larry Ward, David Ward, and Danny Ward, and his fiancé Delacy Trinidad. He is preceded in death by his step mother Madelyn Johnson, his mother Shirley Ann Davis, his sister Anna Pease, his brothers Jeramie James Johnson and Carl (Burt) Ward.
