Humboldt County Drug Task Force press release:
On January 2nd, 2020, at approximately 12:00 p.m., special agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force (HCDTF) served a search warrant at a residence located in the 1800 block of Buhne Drive, King Salmon. Agents received information the resident, and local probationer, Allissa Chad Kelley (age 29), is dealing narcotics from her residence.
Upon arrival, Kelley was detained without incident and the search warrant was served. Inside the residence agents located approximately 60 grams of suspected heroin packaged for sales and 3 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Agents also located various blenders and other evidence that is indictive of “cutting” raw heroin into larger doses. Also detained was Gerald Bruce Hunsucker (age 61) who was seen leaving the residence. Hunsucker is a local PC 290 sex registrant who agents suspect is residing in King Salmon. Agents will be forwarding their report to the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office on Hunsucker for failing to update his residency requirements. Agents also located Peter James Little Hunsucker (age 23) inside the residence and placed him under arrest for violation of parole.
Kelley was subsequently placed under arrest for possession of controlled substances for sales and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. Approximately 3 hours later, Kelley posted a $45,000 bond and was released from custody.
On January 10th, 2020, HCDTF agents received information that Kelley was traveling to central California to purchase additional narcotics. At approximately 2:00 a.m., agents were able to locate Kelley on Highway 101 near Metropolitan Heights Road, Fortuna. With the assistance of a narcotic detection K9 from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, a traffic stop was made on Kelley’s vehicle. Kelley was searched pursuant to her probation terms and was found to be in possession of approximately 1.5 ounces of raw heroin. Kelley was placed under arrest for possession and transportation of controlled substances. In addition, agents arrested the passenger of the vehicle, Perry Dale Sanderson (age 31), on an outstanding felony warrant.
Both subjects were transported and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
