Henry Charles Del Biaggio died January 16, 2020 having celebrated with family his 91st birthday on January 6. He is survived by his wife Carol, sons Dennis (Susie); Daniel (friend Tina Berns) of Ferndale and daughter Donna Jackson (Bob) of Eureka. Henry was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. His younger brother Walter (Diane) Del Biaggio of Arcata survives him. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Atillio and Mary Del Biaggio of Rio Dell, his brother Arthur and wife Marion of Stafford and his four day old grandson Brandon Jacobsen of Loleta.

Henry was a timber faller, fisherman, rancher and for several years following retirement worked for his son Dennis. He served in the Korean War and was in the Ferndale film “Coming of Age in Korea.”

His interest in retirement was gardening turning a pasture into a park like setting. He won two consecutive garden awards by the Ferndale Garden Club. And in 2004 he created lawn men Bud & Harry, a horse, steer, alligator and turkey entertaining those passing his home on the highway with various scenes for ten years.

At his request there will be no service. If you wish to make a donations he would chose Hospice of Humboldt, Ferndale Museum or Ferndale Volunteer Fire Department.
