An interview with Charmaine Lawson, the mother of slain HSU Student Josiah Lawson, will be featured on the TV documentary series “Still a Mystery” tonight, in an episode that explores the unsolved case of her son’s death.

The episode, created by award-winning production company Efran Films, will air on Investigation Discovery tonight at 10 p.m., following an hour-long Oprah Winfrey special on the murder of George Floyd titled “Where Do We Go From Here?

“A Black student leader is murdered at a college party … but no one is indicted,” Efran Films shared on its Facebook page. “Is this another case of racism in American justice?”

While the documentary likely won’t uncover any new information in the case, Charmaine Lawson has taken to Facebook to promote the episode in hopes of drawing more awareness to the Justice for Josiah cause.

“Please watch and share with friends and family,” Lawson wrote on Facebook. “Three years and still no justice. I will not give up until justice is served for my son DJ.”
