In 1961 they moved to Alton to take over the Cardoza family dairy where they raised their two sons Michael and Mark.

Alaris aka “lettuce” (to some who knew her) always welcome friends and family with open arms, hugs and good food. She was a wonderful cook and many asked for her recipes.

Alaris loved animals dearly but the cats were her favorite of all, especially one by the name of Furrbee.

When Alaris and Henry retired, they loved to travel in their RV to many places with family and of course Furrbee along with them.
