Press release from the Bear River Band of Rohnerville Rancheria:

The Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria will be opening up the Bear River Recreation Center to provide shelter for those who have been evacuated from their homes due to the devastating fires. This service will begin on Friday September 11, 2020. The Bear River Recreation Center is located at 265 Keisner Rd. Loleta, CA. 95551. There will be four separated areas for larger families, and socially distanced singular units for up to 45 individuals. In addition to the indoor shelter there will also be ample space outdoors next to facility for those who wish to tent camp as well as park their vehicles. Pets are not allowed at this time within the building.

The Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria will be providing hot and cold meals as well as providing cots, bedding, water, restrooms, showers, hand sanitizer, and masks. Masks will be required while indoors and social distancing must still be practiced. Drug and alcohol consumption is not allowed.
