Ramirez-Hernandez

During the month of August 2020 an undercover agent from the Humboldt County Drug Task Force (HCDTF) purchased multiple ounces of methamphetamine on two separate occasions from Santiago Ramirez-Hernandez (age 26 from Fortuna). 

On September 3rd, 2020 the undercover agent purchased a quarter pound of methamphetamine from Ramirez-Hernandez in the 700 block of Fortuna Blvd. in the City of Fortuna. HCDTF agents then contacted Ramirez-Hernandez and placed him under arrest for three counts of selling controlled substances. 

Agents served a search warrant on Ramirez-Hernandez’s vehicle and his residence in the 2000 block of Hillside Dr. in Fortuna. Agents located an additional 5.5 ounces of methamphetamine and a digital scale. $2,400 in U.S. currency was seized pending an asset forfeiture investigation. 

Ramirez-Hernandez was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on the following charges:

  • H&S 11378 Possession of controlled substances for sale
  • H&S 11379 Transportation of a controlled substance
