Christopher Adam Lamica, born on April 1, 1967 passed away at the age of 53 on August 8, 2020 in Fortuna. Christopher is survived by his three children in North Carolina, Rochelle Avant, daughter Kairi, Lindsey Brewer (Andrew), twins Devin and Adam; and Kadrien Lamica in college at UNC, NC. Christopher is also survived by his wife, Torri Lynn Richardson of Fortuna, his mother Rochelle Elaine Chapdelaine of Grass Valley, his brother, Ken Lamica of Diamond Springs, and his sister, Laurie Miller of Grass Valley and his stepfather, David Talbot of Placerville. He was preceded in death by his father, Les Lamica in 2015.

Chris enjoyed working in the lumber industry. He worked part time for his grandfather, Leonard Chapdelaine, Construction Suppliers in El Dorado at the age of 14. After 6 years he traveled back to North Carolina rebuilding lumber mills. He lived in Rutherfordton, NC for 15 years and returned to California to seek out work in the big trees - Scotia and Fortuna area as a Millwright. As a child he enjoyed camping in the Redwoods and Crystal Basin Recreational Area. His children and family dearly miss him.
