4:46 pm update:

This is a correction to the press release issued at 3:22 P.M. on September 9, 2020 regarding wildfire evacuation routes for Southern Humboldt County. In the initial release, it was reported that Barnun Road was a viable route for those under mandatory evacuation for the areas south of Highway 36 in Bridgeville, and all communities along Alderpoint Road down to the Mendocino / Trinity County Line. Barnum Road is NOT a viable evacuation route from the wildfires as it is not a public road. Please continue to utilize Elk Creek Road, Dyerville Loop Road, Fort Seward Road or Alderpoint Road.
