Humboldt is full of new growth! This week, your President of Positivity tours Laurel Tree Charter School in Valley West with her bud Ken Hamik. It’s an exciting time for Laurel Tree. They’ve just extended their campus to McKinleyville to a 4-acre plot just west of Highway 101 on Murray Road. And on May 1 they will be holding a Makers’ Fair where students will present their plans for a permaculture garden and a forest to be developed there.
