From the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office:

The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your assistance in locating a missing person. On 8/10/2021 Rocky Ramirez (pictured) left a residence in Humboldt County around 9:30 a.m. with a destination of Yreka. Ramirez was last heard from while in the Hoopa area around 12:30 p.m. Ramirez said he had an ETA of 3:30 p.m. It was reported Ramirez never made it to his destination. Ramirez’ vehicle was located off an embankment near Ti Bar River access off of Hwy 96 on 8/10/2021.

A search was conducted of that area and Ramirez was nowhere to be found. The SCSO Search and Rescue and Dive Team in conjunction with CHP Air Ops and CAL fire Air Ops, will continue searching the area.
