Bonnie Marie Parker
October 2, 1939 - August 9, 2021

Bonnie Marie Parker was peacefully received by the arms of our Lord on August 9, 2021. Bonnie was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to William Carpenter and Beatrice Yarbrough on October 2,1939. She moved to Humboldt County in 1948, where she graduated from Arcata High School and worked as a secretary at the Redwood United Workshop. 

Bonnie was a loving mother and a dedicated member of the Church of God, where she loved to play piano and serve her church community. She was loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by her brother Frank Carpenter and four beautiful children: Donald Dewayne Parker (Roseburg, Oregon), Lloyd Parker (San Diego), Sharon Beachley (San Diego), and Donna Evans (Kennewick, Washington).

Bonnie’s legacy is carried on by her nine grandchildren — Francis Parker, Donald D. Parker Jr., Kala Evans, Shane Evans, Danielle Crews, Lane Parker, Stephanie Beachley-Johnson, Cody Evans and Michael C. Beachley, along with 14 great-grandchildren.

A public viewing will be held at Sanders Funeral Home on August 17, 2021 at 1 p.m. and she will be laid to rest at a private graveside service at 3 p.m. in Oceanview Cemetery.
