A local business owner from Arcata was arrested yesterday on alleged kidnapping and child molestation charges.

Kevin Wesley William Dikes, a 35-year-old food industry worker and owner of Egghead — a fast food business that operates out of Arcata’s Northtown Coffee —was booked into the Humboldt County Jail on three felony charges.

Arcata Police Department Lt. Todd Dokweiler told the Outpost that Dikes was arrested at his home for two counts of committing lewd acts with a child under the age of 14 and one count of kidnapping.

Dikes is being held on $1 million bail.
