Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. will be sworn in as the 46th president of the United States at 9 a.m. PST on Wednesday at a ceremony that will be dramatically different than any other inauguration in the nation’s 244 year history.

The socially distanced inauguration crowd will be among the smallest ever as officials consider the coronavirus pandemic and threats of domestic terrorism. In addition to Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s swearing-ins, the event is set to feature performances from Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks.
