The Coast Central Credit Union branch at the Bayshore Mall was robbed again yesterday afternoon at about 4:30 p.m., the Eureka Police Department has confirmed.

EPD spokesperson Brittany Powell tells the Outpost that an unknown man walked into the bank at that time, handed a teller a note and left with an unknown amount of cash.

The department’s calls for services log notes that officers responded to a commercial panic alarm at the mall at 4:31 p.m.

No suspects have been identified at this time, Powell said. Eureka Police are working closely with the FBI on the case.

Numerous Coast Central locations, including the branch at the Bayshore Mall, have been held up in the past few weeks. Last week the FBI put out a wanted poster for a suspect wanted in connection with those incidents, whom the bureau dubbed “the Lost Coast Bandit.”
