A Eureka man has been taken into custody for attempted murder following the investigation into a shooting at a McKinleyville bar on September 27.
On Oct. 13, 2021, at about 3:36 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 54-year-old Sean Timothy O’Brien at his home in Eureka.
O’Brien was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of attempted murder (PC 664/187), discharge of a firearm (PC 12022.53(c)), assault with a firearm on a person (PC 245(a)(2)) and causing great bodily injury in commission of a felony (PC 12022.7(a)). His bail has been set at $1 million.
