Ellen Pearl Magnotte was born November 27, 1945 in Arcata and passed away September 25, 2021 in Petaluma at the age of 75. She was a resident of Arcata until she moved to Imperial Valley, then moved back home to Arcata in 2013, until 2020 when she moved to Mckinleyville until her death.
She worked as a maid and a seamstress for many years . She decided to become a beautician for many years until she retired. She enjoyed being in 4-H as a young girl. She loved to craft and loved to sew blankets for her family. She loved her family.
She married the love of her life, Patrick Magnotte, on January 20, 1982. She will be missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her youngest brother, David Hill, and his wife Sherry Hill, his daughter Ellen’s nieces Michaela Hill and nephew Harvey Olson, and many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Magnotte, her mother Myrtle Hill and her father Amil Hill. Her middle brother Lee Hill, as well as her aunts Eunice O’Neil and June Fredrickson.
