Fortuna Police Department press release:

As of Tuesday afternoon (May 24th 2022), Detectives from the Fortuna Police Department finished processing closed circuit surveillance video which was acquired from businesses located within the proximity of the Coast Central Credit Union in Fortuna. As a result, it has been determined that the suspect in this case was driving a dark blue Toyota Scion, “TC” with black rims. The vehicle model is believed to have been produced between 2005 and 2010. 

The Fortuna Police Department would like to thank the local businesses who provided video surveillance footage for this incident. The Fortuna Police Department continues to ask for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect and/or suspect vehicle.
